SAN DIEGO (AP) - One night after Chipper Jones lamented Atlanta's inability to score runs in San Diego, the Braves gave Petco Park and the Padres' pitching staff a good workout. Andruw Jones hit a pair of two-run homers and Chipper Jones had four singles and scored three runs to lead the Braves to a 10-6 win over the Padres on Wednesday night.
Atlanta scored just four runs total in the first two games of the series.
"This is a difficult park to hit in," Chipper Jones said. "It's a spacious yard, but they have always pitched well against us here and they play good defense, so it's not an easy place to score runs.
