 BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Daniel Briere and the Buffalo Sabres are headed South — for a Game 7.
Briere scored a power-play goal 4:22 into overtime and the Sabres forced a deciding game in the Eastern Conference final with a 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
J.P. Dumont also scored for Buffalo and rookie Ryan Miller stopped 25 shots.
