IBADAN, Nigeria (AP) - A truck hauling iron rods lost control and crashed into several roadside buses as passengers were boarding in southwestern Nigeria, killing at least 30 people, police said Tuesday.
The accident occurred Monday on the outskirts of the city of Ibadan, some 60 miles north of Lagos, said police commissioner Jonathan Johnson.
The truck slammed into a busy stop where minibuses were loading passengers and street traders sold their wares.
