 SEATTLE (AP) - Sue Bird scored a season-high 18 points and Lauren Jackson added 16 to help the Seattle Storm beat the Sacramento Monarch 68-53 on Tuesday night.
The Storm had four of their starters score in double figure with center Janell Burse adding 13 points and guard Betty Lennox 12. The 6-foot-5 Jackson also pulled down 12 rebounds.
Erin Buescher scored 12 points and Yolanda Griffith added 10 for the Monarchs. Nicole Powell, Sacramento's second-leading scorer, was limited to just three points.
