LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar fell against most other major currencies in European trading Friday. Gold prices were mostly down.
The euro was quoted at $1.2753, up from $1.2694 late Thursday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.2754.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Thursday, included 114.70 Japanese yen, down from 115.78; 1.2327 Swiss francs, down from 1.2382; and 1.1301 Canadian dollars, down from 1.1365.
