CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Terna Nande thought he would see his mother again in a few days when he and his younger brother got on an airplane in Nigeria for the flight home to the United States.
Seventeen years later, he's still waiting.
He spent those years filling his free time with sports and now is a rookie linebacker with the Tennessee Titans working hard to earn the NFL roster spot that could provide the clout to break through the bureaucracy and reunite his family.
