ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A state court rejected a law Friday that would have allowed voters to cast ballots for five days before an election.
The Court of Appeals ruling did not provide reasoning or say how the seven judges voted. But it said a lower court ruling overturning the law was upheld with "a majority of the court concurring."
The lower court had ruled that the state constitution does not give the legislature authority to allow voting for the general election on any day other than a single day in November.
