2 Soldiers Killed in Eastern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Two U.S.-led coalition soldiers were killed and another two were wounded in a bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

The troops were attacked during a combat patrol in Laghman Province and a battle involved small arms and machine-gun fire ensued, the military said.

The names and nationalities of the slain and injured soldiers were not disclosed. The military only said the wounded were hospitalized in stable condition.
