PHOENIX (AP) - Jeff Kent homered to lead off the ninth inning and the Los Angeles Dodgers snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 Saturday night.
Kent's towering shot to left on a 3-2 pitch from Luis Vizcaino (3-4) put the Dodgers back on top after Arizona had rallied from a 3-1 deficit to tie it. Jonathan Broxton (3-0) threw one pitch, a line out by Johnny Estrada to end the eighth, to get the victory.
Takashi Saito, who blew his second save in 15 tries in Friday night's 8-7 15-inning Arizona victory, pitched a scoreless ninth for his 15th save.
