TOKYO (AP) - Japan's unemployment rate fell to 4.1 percent in July, from 4.2 percent the month before, the government said Tuesday, suggesting the labor market is improving further.
The jobless rate, which is released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, matched an average forecast of 4.1 percent, according to a Dow Jones Newswires survey of economists.
The latest figure was an improvement from 4.4 percent the same month a year earlier.
