ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The husband of Republican state attorney general candidate Jeanine Pirro denies he had an affair last year, but he says he did seek the company of other women because he doesn't get enough attention from his wife, New York magazine reports.
Pirro's marriage to her millionaire lawyer-lobbyist husband has been a source of controversy throughout her public life.
The New York magazine look at the Pirros, hitting newsstands Monday, comes almost three weeks after Jeanine Pirro, the former Westchester County district attorney, acknowledged she was under federal investigation for plotting to secretly record her husband in 2005 to find out whether he was having an affair. She has said that the eavesdropping she considered was legal.
