 VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - The Detroit Red Wings didn't need a shutout from Dominik Hasek to extend their winning streak to nine games.
All it took was a mistake by the other goaltender.
Johan Franzen's short-handed wrist shot beat Roberto Luongo from 35 feet to lift Detroit to a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night, and give the Red Wings a franchise-record matching ninth-straight victory.
