LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) - A ruptured fuel pipeline exploded outside Nigeria's commercial capital, killing at least one person, state-owned radio in the West African country said Sunday.
The pipeline burst into flames Saturday after leaking gasoline for days from a rupture apparently caused by thieves trying to steal fuel in Ije-Ododo, a village on the outskirts of Lagos, Radio Nigeria said.
The report said at least one person died in the fire, citing residents and witnesses.
