 STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Jayne Appel scored 15 points, Jillian Harmon had 14 and Candice Wiggins added 13 to help No. 14 Stanford rout Utah 74-47 on Saturday. Cissy Pierce also finished in the doubles figures, scoring 10 for the Cardinal (5-3) in their third straight victory.
Joh-Teena Filipe scored 12 points for the Utes (5-5), who had a four-game winning streak stopped. Morgan Warburton added 11.
Utah has lost all nine meetings with Stanford, the only Pac-10 school it has not beaten. The Utes are 46-34 against the rest of the Pac-10.
