GEORGETOWN, Guyana (AP) - Police said Thursday they shot and killed Guyana's most wanted fugitive after he refused to surrender when they tracked him to his father's house in Georgetown.
Neil Bovell, 37, who was wanted for several murders, rapes, and kidnappings spanning more than a decade in the South American nation, was killed after officers surrounded him just outside of the capital of Georgetown, according to a police statement.
No officers were injured in the confrontation.
