 BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Glen Davis scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as No. 17 LSU cruised to a 92-58 victory over Mississippi Valley State on Thursday night in the second round of the Hispanic College Fund Classic.
Davis, who went 7-of-11 from the field, got his eighth double-double of the season before leaving the court with slightly more than five minutes left in the game. He also had four assists and three steals.
Tasmin Mitchell, who was 6-of-8 from the field, finished with 17 points for the Tigers (9-3). Dameon Mason scored 13, while Darnell Lazare and Terry Martin added 10 points apiece.
