WASHINGTON (AP) - Scotty Glacken, Georgetown's football coach for 23 seasons and a standout quarterback for Duke in the 1960s, has died.
Glacken, 62, died Wednesday night, Georgetown announced. The school did not release a cause of death. He lived in Bethesda, Md.
Glacken coached the Hoyas from 1970-92 and had a 98-95-2 record, making him the winningest coach in school history. Georgetown had winning records in 15 of his 23 seasons. He was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2002.
