 MILWAUKEE (AP) - Krystal Ellis scored 14 points to lead No. 20 Marquette past Navy 67-40 Friday night for its 11th consecutive victory and best start in school history.
Jasmine McCullough scored all of her 10 points in the first half, and Christina Quaye tied her career high with 12 rebounds for Marquette (12-1), which won 10 of its first 11 games in the 2005-06 season — its previous best start.
Lindi Conner led Navy (4-8) with nine points, and Margaret Knap added eight. Navy matched its previous worst loss this season, 51-34 to Georgetown on Dec. 4.
