CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina made up for the unexpected absence of All-Atlantic Coast Conference forward Erlana Larkins with teamwork. Camille Little led a balanced attack with 20 points, four other teammates scored in double figures and the second-ranked Tar Heels beat Tennessee Tech 93-52 on Saturday.
"It was good to have all the others doing so well in there and not relying on Erlana so much," coach Sylvia Hatchell said.
Larkins, North Carolina's second-leading scorer (13.1) and leading rebounder (8.9), missed her first college game after playing in 83 straight contests. She was in Florida attending the funeral of a family friend.
