GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Jared Zabransky threw two touchdown passes to Drisan James and No. 9 Boise State took a 21-10 lead over No. 7 Oklahoma at halftime of the Fiesta Bowl on Monday night.
Zabransky hooked up with James on scoring strikes of 49 and 32 yards, the latter a spectacular catch and run that ended with James diving for the pylon.
Mike T. Williams sparked the Broncos defensively when he sacked Sooners quarterback Paul Thompson and recovered his fumble at the 9-yard line. Ian Johnson's 2-yard run with 7:28 left in the first quarter gave Boise State a 14-0 lead as the Broncos scored twice in a 1:38 span.
