By MIKE CRANSTON

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett shoots a free throw using a leather basketball as Minnesota plays the Charlotte Bobcats in the first half of an NBA basketball game at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, N.C. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2007 .
