Senators Acquire Comrie From Coyotes

Comrie is earning $3 million this season and will be an unrestricted free agent July 1. He has 20 points (seven goals) in 24 games with the Coyotes this season.

With top two centers Jason Spezza and Mike Fisher out with knee injuries, Senators general manager John Muckler had been trying to find help. He attempted to acquire Petr Nedved off re-entry waivers from Philadelphia but Edmonton beat him to it Tuesday.
