MADRAS, India (AP) - Third-seeded Xavier Malisse and fifth-seeded Carlos Moya cruised into the quarterfinals Wednesday at the Chennai Open.
Dropping his opening serve following a spate of foot faults, Malisse of Belgium coasted to a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Stefano Galvini of Italy in the second-round contest.
Moya, the two-time Chennai Open champion, defeated American Kevin Kim 6-4, 6-3. He will face Ivo Karlovic of Croatia, who had 25 aces in his 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2) win over Kristian Pless of Denmark.
