Red Wings Topple Avalanche 3-1

(AP Photo/Paul Sancya)DETROIT (AP) - Pavel Datsyuk and Tomas Holmstrom each had a goal and an assist to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday.

Kirk Maltby got the other goal, and Dominik Hasek made 11 saves for Detroit, which snapped its three-game losing streak.

Paul Stastny got the Avalanche's goal and Jose Theodore stopped 38 shots.
