LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Thursday. Gold rose.
The euro closed at $1.3034, up from $1.3006 late Wednesday. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3027.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Wednesday, included 121.15 Japanese yen, up from 120.66; 1.2456 Swiss francs, up from 1.2417; and 1.1869 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1852.
