INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Pacers guard Darrell Armstrong, who was ejected during a loss to Denver on Friday, was suspended by the NBA for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Armstrong began arguing with official Eli Roe midway through the fourth quarter of Friday's game after he disagreed with a call. He was given two technical fouls and ejected, then followed Roe and continued to talk to him before being restrained by teammates.
NBA executive vice president Stu Jackson said Sunday the suspension was for "inappropriate actions" following the ejection and for publicly criticizing the officiating.
