PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Right wing Sami Kapanen and the Philadelphia Flyers agreed on Monday to a two-year extension through the 2008-09 season.
Kapanen has seven goals and 14 points for the Flyers in 51 games this season.
"I'm happy to stay here and happy we got it done," Kapanen said. "I believe this team is rebuilding in the right direction and we'll be back and contending next year."
