PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Keith Primeau moved his former teammates and the fans with an emotional pregame speech. Then Peter Forsberg showed why he's so coveted around the league. And with the sellout crowd rocking for the Flyers and screaming derogatory chants at the Detroit Red Wings, and goals scored at a rapid rate, it all felt like old times in Philadelphia.
Forsberg scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and sparked the last-place Flyers to a 6-1 win Monday night.
"We know where we are in the standings, we're not feeling good about the season, but lately we've been playing better and with more confidence," Forsberg said. "It feels great winning games."
