Gearlds Scores 41 to Turn Away Badgers

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Katie Gearlds scored a school-record 41 points as No. 16 Purdue defeated Wisconsin 69-60 on Sunday. Gearlds scored 14 of the Boilermakers' final 15 points as Purdue (23-5, 12-2 Big Ten) pulled away from Wisconsin (18-10, 7-8).

Mariah Dunham led three Badgers in double figures with 16 points.

The Badgers went on a 9-0 run to pull within 54-52, but Gearlds made a 3-pointer and scored on Purdue's final four possessions to keep Wisconsin at bay.
