ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - A night after the Anaheim Ducks beat Los Angeles in a shootout, the Kings returned the favor. Lubomir Visnovsky scored in the sixth round of the team's second shootout in a row to give Los Angeles a 4-3 victory over Anaheim on Sunday night.
"It was apropos for (Visnovsky) to score the winner," Kings coach Marc Crawford said. "He took a hard hit there (earlier in the game) and that shows that he has a lot of good determination.
"A lot of teams go after good players all the time, and we do the same thing. Those great players stay with it and they persevere. This is a great player, so it's nice to see him get the winner."
