LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mostly higher against other major currencies in European trading Tuesday. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.3140, down from $1.3152 late Monday. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3136.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Monday, included 120.16 Japanese yen, up from 119.52; 1.2360 Swiss francs, up from 1.2327; and 1.1672 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1639.
