MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee star Michael Redd played for the first time in nearly 1 1/2 months when the Bucks played the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
Redd, the Bucks' leading scorer at 27.7 points per game, missed 20 games after straining the patellar tendon in his left knee when he went up for a late dunk in a loss to Cleveland on Jan. 5.
The Bucks, who also lost starters Charlie Villanueva and Mo Williams for significant stretches because of injuries in January, are 3-17 since losing Redd. Bucks coach Terry Stotts said that hopes Redd's return can spark a winning streak.
