KENT, Ohio (AP) - Reserve Amber Flynn scored 21 points to lead six Bowling Green players in double figures, and the No. 18 Falcons defeated Kent State 89-66 Tuesday night. Bowling Green has won 18 straight games and stretched its school- and conference-record winning streak to 39 against Mid-American Conference teams.
Kate Achter scored 14 points and Carin Horne had 13 points and seven rebounds for Bowling Green (25-2, 14-0). Ali Mann and Lindsey Goldsberry added 12 apiece, and Jasmine McCall 10.
Kristin Peoples scored 23 points for the Flashes (13-12, 9-5), and accounted for most of Kent State's free-throw shooting, going 12-for-16 at the line, where the team was 17-for-25.
