HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A man convicted of involuntary manslaughter in his girlfriend's fall from his 23rd-story apartment window was sentenced Wednesday to at least 11 months prison.
Kevin P. Eckenrode, 26, was convicted last month in the Feb. 25, 2006, death of 23-year-old Rachel Kozlusky. Authorities said the couple had been drinking heavily, and he told police he was dangling her out the window when she slipped. He was acquitted of third-degree murder.
At his sentencing Wednesday, he apologized to her family.
