GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Physical evidence suggests that a teenager shot to death with a state senator's gun killed himself, an attorney conducting an inquest in the case said Friday.
But Thomas Farrell said he still could recommend criminal charges in the case relating to aiding or abetting suicide or recklessly contributing to it.
Louis Farrell, who is not related to the lawyer, died in July from a gunshot to the head fired from a gun owned by Sen. Robert Regola, who was in Harrisburg at the time. The 14-year-old's body was found in woods behind the two families' homes next to the senator's 9 mm handgun, police have said.
