NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Among Arena Football League players, word has gotten out about what's going on in New Orleans: the rebirth of the VooDoo.
"As far as Arena Football goes, this is top of the line," said VooDoo quarterback Andy Kelly, who seized the chance to return to the team he played with before Hurricane Katrina forced the franchise to take a one-season break. "You couldn't ask for much more."
While the city's tourism industry has struggled to lure travelers since the storm, the resurrected VooDoo have been an easy sell to prospective players.
