MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A former casino developer accused of illegally donating to Gov. Jim Doyle's campaign gave money in a similar pattern to the losing candidate for attorney general, records reviewed by The Associated Press showed.
Dennis Troha was indicted Thursday on federal charges that he funneled through his relatives more than $100,000 to Doyle's campaign to secure approval for a planned Indian casino.
The records reviewed by the AP on Friday showed that then-Democratic Attorney General candidate Kathleen Falk received $20,000 on Oct. 5 and 6 from Troha and four relatives.
