 PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Stephanie Hawk had 17 points and 12 rebounds, Heather Bowman added 14 points and Gonzaga knocked off Loyola Marymount 64-47 on Sunday in the championship game of the West Coast Conference women's basketball tournament.
The victory was the ninth in the a row for Gonzaga (24-9), which earned an automatic berth in the upcoming NCAA tournament..
The Bulldogs, who led the final 29 minutes of the contest, broke the game open with a 17-4 run at the end of the first half that put the Zags up 34-19 at intermission.
