CINCINNATI (AP) - Procter & Gamble Co., maker of Tide detergent, Crest toothpaste and numerous other consumer products, reaffirmed on Friday its third-quarter earnings guidance.
The company expects earnings of 72 cents to 74 cents a share for the quarter ending later this month. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial expect earnings of 74 cents a share.
P&G said it expects sales growth of 7 percent to 9 percent in the quarter.
