 LAGOS, Portugal (AP) - Carli Lloyd scored for the second straight game, a 46th-minute goal that led the United States over Finland 1-0 Friday at the Algarve Cup.
Lloyd, who had just entered at halftime, scored on a 13-yard shot after a defender's header failed to clear Stephanie Lopez's corner kick. It was her third goal for the United States, which outshot the Finns 17-3.
"It was kind of unbelievable, first touch of the game," Lloyd said. "It's kind of a new beginning for me."
