MONTREAL (AP) - Saku Koivu and Andrei Kostitsyn scored in the shootout after both scored in regulation, leading the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
Koivu scored on Montreal's third attempt to preserve the Canadiens' chances after Mats Sundin beat Jaroslav Halak on Toronto's second shot.
Halak, who had 37 saves in the game, forced Yanic Perreault wide on the Maple Leafs' third shot before Kostitsyn used a move similar to Koivu's as he deked Andrew Raycroft before putting a forehand into an open left side for the deciding goal.
