RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Duke stars Lindsey Harding and Alison Bales longed to make amends for the only loss of their senior season. After two weeks of stewing, they finally get their chance. "We've been really anxious to get back and play ... to redeem ourselves," Harding said Saturday.
Fifteen days was plenty long enough for the Blue Devils to dwell on their defeat. Duke (30-1) holds the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament and beginning Sunday are looking for another deep postseason run through the Greensboro Regional.
The Blue Devils finished the regular season as the nation's only unbeaten team, but were upset March 3 by inspired North Carolina State in the semifinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.
