YORKTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - The roof of a popular bowling alley collapsed while several children's birthday parties were taking place inside, but no one was injured.
Employees escorted out about 100 people after the dome roof of the Jefferson Valley bowling lanes building began crumbling around noon Saturday.
Building inspectors in the community, about 45 miles north of midtown Manhattan, were trying to figure out what caused the collapse. Heavy snow accumulation from Friday's storm was a possibility.
