PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A judge has convicted a man of murdering his parents a decade ago after prosecutors said he shot both in the head to inherit their money.
Judge Shelley Robins New convicted Matthew Zimmerman, 34, Monday in a non-jury trial. He is expected to get life in prison when he is sentenced June 5.
Prosecutors said Zimmerman loathed his parents and hoped to inherit some of their assets, which he believed totaled about $1 million.
