MILWAUKEE (AP) - The fan who bellowed "Fire Stotts!" after tipoff at Milwaukee Bucks home games in recent months got his wish last week, though that doesn't mean the team's new coach is on his side.
Larry Krystkowiak stuck up for Terry Stotts on Tuesday, saying his former boss has gone out of his way to be supportive in the past week and shaking his head at the harsh treatment Stotts received from some fans after a season filled with injuries to key players.
"It was pretty brutal some of our games, and people yelling, getting real personal," Krystkowiak said. "Teams have a hard time winning in this league without their best players, and our lineup was completely decimated four starters out.
