LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was higher against most other major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning. Gold prices were mixed.
The euro traded at $1.3307, unchanged from its level late Tuesday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3300.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Tuesday, included 117.80 Japanese yen, up from 117.25; 1.2147 Swiss francs, up from 1.2120; and 1.1581 Canadian dollars, down from 1.1607.
