RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A Boy Scout who was missing for four days in the North Carolina mountains before being found, cold and dehydrated, left the hospital Thursday, officials said.
Michael Auberry, 12, was discharged just before 1 p.m. from Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, where he was taken Tuesday after a search dog found him, hospital spokesman Doug Allred said.
The boy was treated for dehydration and exposure to cold, said his father, Kent Auberry. He had lost some feeling in his fingers and toes but was regaining it, the father said at a news conference Wednesday.
