LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - A woman accused of snatching a newborn from a hospital this month has been indicted on a federal kidnapping charge.
A grand jury on Wednesday indicted Rayshaun Parson in the abduction of Mychael Darthard-Dawodu, who was 3 days old when she disappeared from a Lubbock hospital March 10.
Mychael was found safe a day later in Parson's hometown of Clovis, N.M. Parson, 21, was arrested there and taken to Lubbock, where she remained jailed without bond Thursday. She has not entered a plea.
