 DETROIT (AP) - Sergei Fedorov answered the boos. His goal in the third extra round of the shootout gave the Columbus Blue Jackets a 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night.
David Vyborny and Rick Nash also scored in the shootout for Columbus. Pavel Datsyuk and Dan Cleary netted Detroit's shootout goals.
Fedorov, a member of the Red Wings from 1990-2003, is booed by Detroit fans every time he touches the puck each time he plays in Detroit.
