LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar traded mostly higher against other major currencies in European trading Friday. Gold was mixed.
The euro traded at $1.3295, down from $1.3334 late Thursday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3292.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Thursday, included 117.83 Japanese yen, down from 118.15; 1.2182 Swiss francs, up from 1.2142; and 1.1590 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1575.
